Bright America is a non-profit grassroots movement open to all and built by moderate and center-right leaders to defend the Constitution, fight corruption, and cast a brighter vision for the future of our country.

This moment — in the wake of the chaos and instability of the current Administration — demands different solutions.

This isn’t a new party or about pursuing a partisan policy agenda. Instead, we’re focused on standing up to any action that threatens the foundation of American democracy: the Constitution, rule of law, separation of powers, and our institutions.

Now, this doesn’t mean we’re blind defenders of the status quo. There’s plenty of waste and inefficiency to find and fix; structural reforms to debate and explore; a cost-of-living crisis hurting most everyone, from healthcare to housing and everything in between; and a world full of threats and dangers.

We need solutions, clarity, and respect… not the chaos, instability, and cruelty we’re getting from our government’s leaders. And the opportunity for something better won’t last forever — which is why it’s so important that we band together now and stop waiting for an opposition party to save the day. You and me and millions of others — we’re who we’ve been waiting for.

High-trust, small-to-large gatherings that brief civic, business, and philanthropic community leaders on concrete threats to the rule of law — and how to respond lawfully and effectively.

II. Breaking Through: Media & Surrogate Amplification

We equip credible center-right voices with research-backed guidance and place them in high-impact conservative media to model principled leadership.

III. Affording America: Activating the Apolitical

A practical, nonpolitical lifestyle platform that earns trust on cost-of-living help, then gently connects everyday families to civic literacy and rule-of-law basics.beyond.

We respect your inbox, which means you’ll typically get just one email per week. However, we’ll still be publishing new content on the website and across social media throughout the week, so you can stay as plugged in as you want without your inbox getting overwhelmed.

Bright America will have virtual and in-person events, plus the ability to connect with like-minded people in our Troll-Free Forum. Step 1: Look Up & Save Their Numbers

• Two U.S. Senators

• One U.S. House Representative

Pro Tip: Save these three numbers in your phone to remove barriers to action. Having them ready means you can call at a moment’s notice!

Step 2: Have a Good Reason
When you call, have a clear request — a specific action you want them to take, such as:

• Vote for or against a bill

• Co-sponsor legislation

• Speak out on an issue

These calls are tallied, and at the end of each day, members of Congress are briefed on the top issues their constituents called about. Your call matters!

Step 3: Use This Simple Script

"Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I live in [Your City, State]. I am a constituent, and calling to ask [Senator/Representative] to [specific action]. This is important because [brief reason]. Thank you for your time."

You don’t have to be an expert! Junior staff or interns take these calls — they log your request and move on. Keep in mind that these young people aren’t calling the shots and get a lot of abuse on the phone. Please be kind, even if you disagree with their boss.

Bonus: Keep Up the Pressure

• Follow your reps on social media. Praise them when they do good, call them out when they don’t.

• Show up to town halls and public events.

• Sign up for their newsletters to stay informed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How often should I call?
Once per weekday (phones typically aren’t answered on the weekend) when there’s an active issue. If you care about it, they need to hear from you.

Do phone calls really make a difference?
Yes! Offices take calls more seriously than emails, petitions, or tweets. It signals strong public interest and voter engagement.

What if my Representative/Senators already agree with me?
Still call! Encourage them to take action, rally their colleagues, and push leadership. Further, people typically only call when they’re upset, so calling to say ‘thank you’ to a leader doing the right thing is worth doing, too.

What if I’m represented by an extremist?
Call anyway. Even if they don’t change today, consistent pressure shifts political calculations over time… because it’s certainly possible the elected official is acting like an extremist because they think that’s what the electorate wants.

What if I get nervous or don’t know what to say?
That’s okay! Your opinion as a constituent matters. If you get flustered, just state your name, location, and request. That’s enough!

Democracy isn’t just an idea — it’s a system of laws and principles that must be defended. At Bright America, we’re not just about raising awareness or sharing clever posts online. We’re working to protect democracy where it matters most: in the courts and in our communities.

Litigation is one of the most powerful tools to fight back, especially when the legislature abandons our system of checks and balances. By fueling legal challenges, we’re standing up for fair elections, holding those in power accountable, and making sure the rule of law is not just a slogan, but a reality.

Principles First will hold its sixth annual grassroots Summit at the National Harbor from Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22, showcasing the nation’s leading voices in defense of classical liberalism and principled, common-sense solutions to America’s problems.

It will bring together principled public officials, thought leaders, and grassroots activists for three days of discussion, strategy, and fellowship.
