Thank you for what you wrote. It’s very encouraging and practical. This whole thing is so huge and overwhelming. It feels like anything we do won’t really matter, but you made me see it differently with your post. All of us together doing small steps at a time, can make a huge difference.

Hope can't be realist, by definition, because hope is based on assumptions of what the future will be. Hope is dangerous, it's nothing else than fear in a pretty packaging.

Personally, i think the situation is hopeless. There's no doubt that Trump will sooner or later find a way to kill resistance once for all, it's a matter of time. History showed us that when authoritarians take the power, it's mostly irreversible.

VERY delayed response … just overwhelmed with less important but more immediate issues. Perhaps the best lay post I’ve read regarding what used to be called β€œthe power of positive thinking”. Unfortunately, easy (relatively) to pontificate, harder to accomplish day in, day out. But thanks nonetheless
