The science behind hope and why cultivating optimism in these dark times is one of the most impactful actions a citizen can take to save the rule of law and ultimately defeat authoritarianism
Thank you for what you wrote. Itβs very encouraging and practical. This whole thing is so huge and overwhelming. It feels like anything we do wonβt really matter, but you made me see it differently with your post. All of us together doing small steps at a time, can make a huge difference.

Hope can't be realist, by definition, because hope is based on assumptions of what the future will be. Hope is dangerous, it's nothing else than fear in a pretty packaging.
Personally, i think the situation is hopeless. There's no doubt that Trump will sooner or later find a way to kill resistance once for all, it's a matter of time. History showed us that when authoritarians take the power, it's mostly irreversible.
VERY delayed response β¦ just overwhelmed with less important but more immediate issues. Perhaps the best lay post Iβve read regarding what used to be called βthe power of positive thinkingβ. Unfortunately, easy (relatively) to pontificate, harder to accomplish day in, day out. But thanks nonetheless
Thanks for the positive in the darkness.
