Our movement will be opposing multiple nominations in 2025. You can click a name below to review a concise list of the biggest problems each nominee poses. Regardless, follow the below steps to make your voice heard:
The most effective grassroots advocacy is to call your two United States Senators! Letβs get ready to make the most effective phone call possible.
Plan to make your call about one nominee. To oppose more than one nominee, itβs best to break them into multiple calls. This will increase the likelihood that your opposition is properly tabulated and increases the number of calls received by the office.
Read a quick brief on the nominee, and consider a brief message to share with the Senators that focuses on the one thing you find the most objectionable for the nominee in question:
Kash Patel, FBI Director nominee
Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence nominee
Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense nominee
Robert Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee
Remain polite, please! Young staff/interns take these calls and receive a lot of abuse. Kindness goes a long way toward ensuring your views are quickly recorded and elevated.
Be prepared to share your zip code or other information indicating you live in the Senatorβs state. Senators and their staffs tend to only care about recording the opinions of residents of the state they represent.
Avoid saying anything partisan β such as what party you support and whether you oppose the President and/or your Senator. Do not give them a reason to blow off your opinion.
Make two phone calls per nominee, one to each of your U.S. Senators. You can find their phone numbers here.
