Well stated Trevor. Iโ€™m a lawyer who learned much from your appearances on Colbert. Keep up the good fight.

I donโ€™t know what to say, as youโ€™ve pretty much said it all! Dems will win if we all show up to vote๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ Too many stayed home when trump beat HRC.

I assume it's more amusing than frustrating that the public knows you best for your stint on "The Colbert Report" than your decades of work on election law. There are worse ways to have become famous. And you are in good company: Richard Thaler may have a Nobel Prize and be known as a father of behavioral economics, but his greatest mainstream fame comes from his appearing with Selena Gomez on "The Big Short."

Another of the crimes of the 'conservative six' is this absurd concept of the "unitary executive" which is laughable to any who would actually READ Article Two of the Constitution. We need to get past this concept that it is not possible to remove justices because it has been proven that impeachment process is broken due to naked partisanship over-ruling any of them honoring their oaths.

READ the fist section of Article Three, then notice it sits immediately below the last section of Article Two - the Impeachment Clause where they outline the hyper difficult process of conviction and the standards to be used. Notice in Article Three, the standard is simply "Good behaviour". When they fall beneath "Good behaviour" they are to be removed. No process is given, but it is inherent in the process to appoint and confirm. Upon confirmation it can be assumed the new Justice is a person who has exhibited "Good behaviour", similarly, if a persident were to point out the lack of "Good behaviour" of a judge or justice, the Senate could by a simple majority remove them upon their confirmation of this judgement.

Following the expansive use of this method, and installing "Good" judges and justices, will be our best opportunity to remove, through an amendment, the entaglement of Politics in our courts which begins with a partisan President and a partisan Senate placing chosen individuals in these seats of power.
